Design Store

I recently open two design shops . First one is at creative market, I add my watercolor design element and pattern design there. The second one is at dreamstime, where I add vector based design images and the eps format as additional file.

You can help me by letting me know what you want me to add to my shop. Hope you like the new shop.

Pattern Frenzy + DIY Mouse Pad

This post basicly is about bragging on my new Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500, Graphic Edition haha, but to make up with all that bragging I have a DIY for you. Anyhoo this is not a sponsored post, I just so excited with this graphic edition wireless mouse.

I have been wanting a wireless mouse for some time because all of these crazy wires on my work table, so when I stumble upon this discount website I saw this 50% discount on a wireless mouse and above all, it has graphics on it!

Cool right?! This version it's not new by the way, I think it was released in 2013. I bought the one with Saksi print on it, when I saw this Saksi, I thought this is meant to be! I have a pattern design that have a matching colors so I as well making a new mouse pad to accompany my new mice :)

So here's come the DIY, a simple DIY mouse pad that you could make from your old mouse pad. By the way, I wish someday my design could be on that mouse, keep dreaming until it came true right?! :D

Seamless Pattern Repeat (Part 2): How To Make a Mock Up

If you starting as a surface pattern designer and you want to sell your design, you should know the importance of a mock up.  Show how your pattern looks in a real product could be more appealing for people to buy your design.

I really like to see my design appear in a product, even if its not real, I also could see if my designs need any adjustment and if it ready for print.

I made a video tutorial on how to make a mock up for your pattern design, I hope it could be somewhat helpful, before that, here is my pattern designs in mock ups I made using pictures I found on the internet.

And here is the tutorial :)

Fall on Spoonflower

This pattern is made from different linocuts that I carved and then I digitally layered and colored in PC. Somehow it reminds me of Japan and fall season :D.

I love how it looks like on this Spoonflower wallpaper mockup, it's on Spoonflower but I haven't list it for sale yet. So just convo me on there if you want it for sale.
