New catalog with new products. Trying new stuff combining natural fabric with synthetic leather. I concentrated more on fashion and home stuff now , paper products are on request only. My Tiny Studio

Moved my studio again haha, it's a lot smaller but more dedicated office/work area. This room is the back room, it's always messy and feel kinda isolated, so I decide to bright it up by moved my studio in there. Here's the before picture, we moved and clean most of the clutter though.

And in all the bits and blobs. This is the view from the door, first  view is my print and cutting table that my friend built for me, the legs made of two shelves that house all my print tools and inks and on the opposite of the table is my sewing machine, on the far back on the left is my office area and on the right an antique shelf that house my trusty printer. I still have to get some boxes for storage.

Still need a lot of boxes to stored all that mess under the table. The cart next to the table hold my fabrics, because I print small size fabrics, so it works for now.

Sorry for the low quality picture of the next picture, my camera battery is low and I forgot where the charger is. so this is my always messy office table.

Still lot of work to do, like painting the shelf, mount the wall fan, change the curtain, get a lot of boxes, etc.. etc.. Hope to update real soon.

Hello Bali

Eraser Carving Stamp Workshop

I was having a workshop last couple of weeks, and it's my first time teaching workshop out of town and it's very exciting. The workshop was held on a Handmade Movement event in Jakarta, actually I forgot my carving tools but fortunately I have enough cutters for the students to use, fiuuh. There's bloody scene too because some of my students accidentally cuts them self , (note to my self to bring band aids on workshops).

New Stuff

 

Printing feathers and skeleton tree and made it into cushions. This is my first large printing, maybe I do textile line someday :)


 

And PaperOn will be at crafty days #8 tobucil on Bandung, 8-9 February. Maybe we'll meet you there.

Craft for kids

For school holiday, I want to give my little visitor some creative activity. So I teach her how to make shrink plastic charm. I let her draw on a white shrink plastic. the pencils smudges and very hard to clean, the erasers wont do the job, tried acetone too.. Nope, it's still there haha if you know the solution please share :)

She kinda freaked out when the plastic start to curled up and shrink, and make sounds like Hey! What.. Ooow...

We made it into necklace, but then she found my PaperOn logo necklace and the she claimed it :D and decided to turn her charm into a key ring.

JAFF or Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival was held yesterday . And I am one of the participants in the arts and craft exhibition hosted by Magic Fingers syndicate for JAFF. Here are the pictures of the exhibition, you could probably figured the theme here, it has to be movie related :)

Despite of heavy rains, major leaking and  flooded.. The event is great! I got to meet great other crafters from in and out of town, watch great music performance, make new friends and got some cute stuff.

PS Paperon will be at the Toys and Games Expo, at JEC Yogyakarta from 7 - 8th December on booth 7.
